· Lead the evaluation, testing, and validation of assigned applications.
· Assess the service levels and performance to ensure they meet established quality standards in accordance with IRS standards.
· Document issues and track status in designated systems.
· Develop and/or participate in the development of solutions to resolve problems and review assigned application documentation for correctness and adherence to the design concept and to user standards.
· Track problems and provide updates to designated management.
· Prepare milestone status reports and deliveries/presentations on the system.
· Under general direction, carries out procedures to ensure that all information systems, products, and services meet organization standards and end-user requirements.
· Create test data for applications.
· Document resolution of all complex problems.
· Report progress on problem resolution to management.
· Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience
· Experience in Requirements Traceable Matrix, Unit Testing, Regression and System Testing
· Conduct unit, integration, and regression testing for application code changes, creating test data, and conducting and documenting development manual and automated test cases, and support of Government acceptance testing.
· Experience as a test engineer
· Experience in requirements analysis, systems analysis, design, development, scripting, and user acceptance testing
· Experience with one or more methodologies testing systems developed using Agile, Agile-Hybrid, DevSecOps, Scrum, Kanban, Lean, Rapid Application Development (RAD) and Test-Driven Development methodologies
· Proven experience in automated testing methodologies and tools
· Experience with software QA tools and processes, including automated testing tools like Selenium
